LCO Magic Items

In order to purchase an LCO Goblin Stamp magic item at Alliance Crossroads, you must have an available Magic Item Pick and enough Goblin Stamps to purchase the item.

The following rules are observed for LCO Magic Items:

•    One pick is earned by NPCing a full weekend event.  Additional picks may be given for exemplary service to the chapter.
•    One item per player per month.
•    Every Gobbied Magic item is automatically a one-year item.  Each additional year costs one “pick” for the extender and additional Goblin Stamps for the added duration, with a maximum of five-year duration.
•    Gobbies must be available for the full amount at the time of purchase, and cannot be “pre-spent”. 
•    Items may be built by player, based on the GS Magic Item creation policy found below.
•    No ninth-level spells may be placed in items.
•    In order to have your item engraved and a tag ready at the event, items purchased with GS must be requested by midnight the Sunday before an event and should include a description of the physrep.
•    If a player wishes to make a pick and did not meet the deadline to have a tag made, the item will receive a “temporary magic item tag” for the weekend and an item number sticker.  The physrep and tag must then be turned in at the end of the weekend, and will be returned at logistics during the next event.
•    Player is responsible for providing the physrep for the item.  Must be submitted during the Friday logistics in order to have engraving completed on-site and the item usable for the weekend.  Note: Crossroads does not guarantee physreps will not be damaged by the engraving process, and will not compensate the owner should damage occur.  We strongly encourage players to use strong physreps that are not valuable.  If an item cannot be engraved it will be marked in another permanent fashion.

All Goblin Stamp Magic Items are Local Chapter Only (LCO) and have a Goblin Stamp cost equivalent to the production point value of the item being created through treasure policy (or the closest approximation we can make).

Times Ever Production-Based Items
A maximum of five charges may be placed on a times ever item.  To determine Goblin Stamp value, multiply the Production Points by two for each charge on the item.  For example, a “Stone Bolt” once ever item is worth 10 Goblin Stamps.  Therefore, a “Stone Bolt” five times ever item would cost one magic item pick, and 50 Goblin Stamps.

Times Per Day Production-Based Items

To determine Goblin Stamp value, multiply the Production Points by two for each charge, then by twelve for each year the item is usable.  For example, a “Stone Bolt” once a day for one year would be worth 120 Goblin Stamps.  A “Stone Bolt” once a day for three years would be 360 Goblin Stamps, and three magic item picks.  Each effect is limited to three times per day.

Further examples:
1.    Disarm 1/day - 1 Year = 1 Pick and 120 Goblin Stamps
2.    Disarm 3/day - 1 Year = 3 Picks and 360 Goblin Stamps
3.    Disarm 3/day - 5 Years = 5 Picks and 1800 Goblin Stamps

Non-Production Goblin Stamp Magic Item Cost List
Non-Production Goblin Stamp Magic Items are automatically Spirit Linked to either the purchaser, or a person to whom they designate the item (i.e. if they are making the item to trade with someone else).  Once the item comes into game, it is irrevocably linked to the person for whom it was created.

Arcane Armor 10 for 1 Year = 1,000 (1 Item Pick), Arcane Armor 30 for 3 Years = 9,000 (3 Item Picks)

Cloak - 960 x Times/Day x Years
Cloak Necromancy 1/day for 1 year = 960 (1 Item Pick), Cloak Evocation 3/day for 2 years = 5,760 (2 Item Picks)

Bane - 1200 x Times/Day x Years
Bane Necromancy 1/Day for 1 Year = 1,200 (1 Item Pick), Bane Evocation 3/Day for 2 Years = 7,200 (2 Item Picks)

Damage Aura - 3000 x (DA VALUE)+1 x Years
DA +0 for 1 Year = 3000 (1 Item Pick), DA +3 for 2 Years = 24,000 (2 Item Picks)

Earth Aura - 2000 x Years
Earth Aura for 1 Year = 2,000 (1 Item Pick), Earth Aura for 4 Years = 8,000 (4 Item Picks)

Elemental Aura - 1000 x Years

Flame Aura for 1 Year = 1,000 (1 Item Pick), Ice Aura for 4 Years = 4,000 (4 Item Picks)

Monster Slayer/Race Reaver - +2/+4/+6/+8 - 1000/2000/3000/4000 x Years

Protection Aura - 375/Point x Years
Protection Aura 2 for 1 Year = 750(1 Item Pick), Protection Aura 4 for 2 Years = 3,000 (2 Item Picks)

Spell Strike - Level x 420 x Times x Years
Spell Strike Stone Bolt 1/Day for 1 year = 420 (1 Item Pick), Spell Strike Dragons Breath 3/Day for 2 Years = 20,160 (2 Item Picks)

Spirit Lock - 600 x Years
Spirit lock will only cost 1 item pick regardless of the number of years paid for with goblin stamps when placed on an item that has multiple years through other picks.
Spirit Lock for 1 Year = 600 (1 Item Pick), Spirit Lock for 3 Years = 1800 (3 Item Picks), Spirit Lock and Disarm 1/Day for 5 Years = 3600 (5 item picks)

Spell Parry - 500 x Times/Day x Years
