For a current list of requested donations, please visit our forum.
Thank you for your interest in donating to the Alliance Crossroads campaign! Check back here frequently to see what the current donation requests are, and also whether special Goblin Stamp rates are being offered.
In addition to what’s listed on our forum, if you have a skill or talent that you’d like to share, please contact us. We may not know to ask for everything that could positively contribute to making the campaign, NPC camp and game environment better for everyone.
Please keep the following guidelines in mind when considering donating to the Crossroads campaign:
1. We may not accept items that are not listed or pre-approved by a staff member.
Be sure to check the list and/or reach out to the Owner, General Manager or Head of Props before donating any items. While we are very grateful for any donations that will improve the campaign, space is also at a premium because this is a volunteer organization and we don’t have the financial backing to store large quantities of items. We would love to accept everything anyone might like to give, but that’s just not currently practical. We would feel just as bad as you if we have to turn away your item, so please email or call us before you spend any time or money on something not listed.
2. If you can’t bring it to an event you can ship it to us.
We would love to receive your donations at any time, and shipping is convenient for everyone involved. If you do ship your items, your Goblin Stamp award will reflect the money you spent on shipping. Please email the Props Coordinator for the appropriate shipping address for your donation(s).
3. We reward quality.
If the item you make is of amazing quality, you will get more goblin stamps than an item that’s merely passable. This is intended to reward everyone fairly based on the relative value of the items to the campaign. The quality level of an item can be assessed by the Props Coordinator, General Manager and Owner.
4. If it’s not good enough for your team, it’s not good enough for ours!
In a nutshell: if the item you’re donating would be scoffed at by your team if you tried to get them to use it, we don’t want out NPCs rolling out with it either. Please make sure the items you’re donating are of the kind of quality that you would be willing to use yourself.
5. Standard rubric for determining Goblin Stamp rewards.
We determined our base levels for Normal Quality donations based on 2 Goblin Stamps per dollar spent on materials, and 20 Goblin Stamps per hour of labor. This is the same general equation that will be used to evaluate Goblin Stamp rewards for items that are not on the list. Items that are urgently needed, specially requested or that are of a higher quality level will have an increased rate of compensation.
6. We want you to feel fairly rewarded for your time and donations.
If for any reason you don’t feel 100% satisfied with the Goblin Stamp reward you were assessed for your donation, please talk to us!! If you’re not comfortable bringing this to the attention of the person that received your donation, come to the Owner or General Manager. We are committed to every person that contributes to our campaign feeling adequately compensated for their actions.
